The Technical Department STSC in Oslo is a critical part of this mission, supporting production, project delivery, tendering, and R&D activities to ensure that all products and solutions meet Nexans' high-quality standards.

• Design cables and components according to cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
  
• Support production, testing, delivery, and installation activities for projects.
  
• Prepare, review, and verify technical drawings and documentation.
  
• Coordinate internal interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
  
• Contribute to as-built documentation and offshore supervision when required.
  
• Participate in research and development of new technologies and tender activities.
  
• Perform project work according to Nexans' project model and best practices, including DIC and IDC activities.
  
• Conduct relevant technical analyses and contribute to engineering process improvements.
  
• Train new personnel and support the development of team competencies.
  

• A university degree in engineering (BSc or higher) - eletrical, mechanical or relevant
  
• Knowledge of cable and component design and costing.
  
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, verbal and written.
  
• Strong communication, analytical, and innovative skills.
  
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
  
• High sense of quality, punctuality, and on-time performance.
  
• Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure.
