Join Us as Operations Agent Export

We are looking for an Operations Agent Export to join our operations team in Oslo.

In this role you will organise the best transport solutions for our local and international clients across all modes — with a primary focus on sea freight exports.

You'll own your shipments end to end: building relationships with customers and suppliers, finding solutions, negotiating rates, making bookings, issuing documentation, and keeping full control of cargo in transit.

What you'll do

• Research and plan the most appropriate routing for each shipment, with a focus on export and sea freight
• Negotiate rates and handling costs with carriers and suppliers
• Obtain, check and prepare documentation to meet customs, packaging and destination-country requirements
• Liaise with third parties in line with customer requirements
• Arrange cargo insurance and assist clients in the event of a claim
• Maintain full visibility and control through every phase of the journey, including unit cost analysis
• Handle customs formalities or coordinate with subcontracted services
• Prepare files for invoicing
• Contribute to continuous improvement and a positive team culture

What we're looking for

• Experience from freight forwarding or international logistics, ideally within export / sea freight
• Strong sense of urgency and a sharp eye for detail
• Effective communicator — clear, accurate and professional
• Strong team player with a customer-service mindset
• Comfortable working flexible hours when business needs require it
• Excellent Norwegian and English skills, written and spoken
• Solid PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office)

• Customs knowledge and experience with transport documentation
