We are currently seeking:
Electro Automation Superintendent BW LPG
BW LPG is currently seeking an Electro Automation Superintendent to join our Fleet team in Oslo. The successful candidate will be taking part in the daily operation of our ships and participate in exciting projects.
The selected candidate will be given responsibilities based on skills and experience which may include the following:
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support to our fleet regarding electrical, automation, and navigation equipment.
- Contribute to OPEX and dry docking budget planning by providing accurate input and taking a cost-efficient approach.
- Collaborate closely with technical team on dry docking - planning and execution, maintenance planning, and fleet upgrades.
- Acting as the primary link between vessels, suppliers, contractors, and fleet management for electro-technical projects.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing maintenance best practices, upgrades, and process enhancements across the fleet.
- Share knowledge and expertise to mentor and support the development of current and future electrical officers and foster technical excellence.
- Proactively recommend and initiate solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and vessel performance.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies, systems, and industry best practices to ensure BW LPG maintains its leading position in maritime industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, with specialization in electro and automation or 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the Maritime industry.
- Hands-on experience as an Engineering Technician or Electro Technician.
- Knowledge of Ex- and High Voltage installations.
- Knowledge of Automation Systems, Navigation Systems and equipment, including Radio/GMDSS.
- Experience with manufacturers such as Kongsberg Maritime, ABB, or comparable brands is an advantage.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Applicants must qualify for permanent residence permit for work purposes in Norway.

Location:
