As a System Operations Specialist you will cover the activities involved in both IS-IT or in system operation.

What you’ll do
Perform operations, anticipate operational problems and contribute to improve the system operation
Continually improve the system, IS-IT, prevent customer issues, and manage corrective actions
Develop solutions to neutralize or rectify reported faults, as well as planning the technical and content-related coordination of the solution
Execute incident response activities as Incident Manager, and participate in the detection
Create reports on faults
Advance the root cause analysis and find solutions through cross-departmental cooperation with project planning, development, etc.
Manage day-to-day activities, including services provided to internal or external customers, support to the system, and support to IS-IT
Be the point of contact for all service-related topics of national and international customers
Ensure customer communication on technical questions, problems and solutions to complex faults
Optimize support, update and further develop of the knowledge database
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures in compliance with legal regulation
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
A university-level technical education (or equivalent experience).
Min. 3 years’ experience in cloud operation
Full overview of IT infrastructure and cloud operation
IT knowledge in the areas of cloud computing, virtual machines, server-client architectures is mandatory
Extensive asset and user management experience
Extensive knowledge within hardware monitoring, troubleshooting and corrective actions
Experience with programming and scripting languages
Experience working with cloud providers, preferably AWS
Experience with container environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience working with configuration management software
Experience with zero-downtime deployment of web applications
Interest and skill set in DevOps principles
Experience with continuous integration and tools
Fluency in English, written and spoken
Bonus skills (nice to have):

Experience with working across boundaries and within a matrix organization
A proactive and accountable approach
A strong sense of responsibility for your work tasks
A customer-focused balanced and you recognize the need for governance
