We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our amazing team of professionals in Stavanger. You’re a firm decision maker, a resilient person who thrives in a multinational environment and knows how to handle change. You also know how to motivate, lead, and coach others.   

About the role 
As Senior Project Manager, you will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from initiation to close-out, working in accordance with Izomax’s Business Management System.  

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Initiate and plan projects based on contracts and tenders, following PM guidelines. 

• Execute projects according to the Business Management System and adjust steps as needed. 

• Manage CTRs and project resources, including internal kick-offs and client communication. 

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships. 

• Monitor project plans, costs, and change control (VO/VORs). 

• Participate in monthly accrual meetings and follow up on customer feedback and improvements. 

• Identify contractual risks to minimize losses and maximize opportunities. 

• Prepare invoices and ensure proper project close-out as directed by Department Manager. 

• Mentor Junior Project Managers when needed. 

• Follow up plan and cost carefully. 

• Initiate and follow up improvements, observations and customer feedback as required per Izomax Business Management System. 

• Follow QHSE policies and act according to Izomax Core Values and Mission. 

Qualifications: 

• MSc or BSc Engineering (work experience can compensate for lack of formal education) 

• Preferably experience from the Oil & Gas industry 

• Professional and/or practical experience in project management, preferably from complex or cross-disciplinary projects. 

• Proven experience in planning, executing, and delivering projects within time, cost, and quality constraints. 

• Technical background and solid technical understanding 

• Commercial experience in an advantage 

• Experience in client interaction  

• Structured and results-oriented 

• Good communication skills in Norwegian & English 

• Ability to work in a hectic environment  

• Ability to work independently and make decisions 

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships 

• Strong leadership skills
