Do you want to build and scale the asset management function powering Bulk’s high‑availability data centers?
At Bulk, our mission is to build sustainable infrastructure that supports the digital society of tomorrow. As one of the leading providers of sustainable, high-performance data center solutions in the Nordics, we design and operate infrastructure that powers the digital economy - efficiently, securely, and with 100% renewable energy. We are now looking for a Data Center Asset Manager to establish a best‑in‑class asset management capability across our Nordic data center portfolio and drive lifecycle excellence at scale.
The Data Center Asset Manager is a new leadership role in our central Engineering & Asset Management function within Operations. You will establish core foundations such as asset registry, document control, building information modelling to operations information flow, and work on strategy such as digital twins while building the roadmap, standards, and team to scale. The role will be hands‑on initially to get data and processes in order, and when the time is right the Data Center Asset Managemer will grow and lead a high‑performing team to drive long‑term asset lifecycle performance and total cost optimization.
What you’ll do:
As our Data Center Asset Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
Own the asset management strategy, define policy, governance, and roadmap.
Establish and lead Building Information Modelling, its use and strategy.
Build and maintain the authoritative Asset Registry & CMDB: data model, criticality, hierarchies, relationships, and change controls.
Lead Document Control/EDMS: procedures, metadata, retention, access controls, versioning, and auditability (drawings, SOP/MOP/EOP, vendor manuals, as‑builts).
Develop digital twins strategy: scope, platform selection, and integrations to unlock capacity, reliability, and energy use cases.
Drive lifecycle & End of Life programs: condition/health indexing, RCM/predictive inputs, risk‑based replacements, spares strategy, circularity/reuse, compliant disposition.
Own Total Cost of Ownership modelling for facility assets.
Establish KPIs and reporting with near‑real‑time dashboards for asset health, lifecycle risk, TCO, and compliance; drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with Uptime‑aligned operations, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; support audits and certifications.
Who are you?
You are an outcome‑focused, data‑driven leader who balances operational risk, customer outcomes, and financial efficiency. You communicate clearly and credibly across technical and non‑technical teams, setting standards, coaching others, and driving adoption across sites and regions. You value simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement, and are motivated by building a robust, scalable Asset Management function that enables long‑term operational excellence.
What you bring:
Minimum 7 years in asset management for mission‑critical facilities.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Facilities, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Strong lifecycle/TCO skills in modelling, RCM/predictive maintenance inputs, EOL planning, and business casing.
Proven Document Control/EDMS leadership in procedures, metadata, retention, and audit readiness.
Data & integration mindset to master data management, data quality frameworks and KPI dashboards.
Experience managing stakeholders across different functions such as Operations, Engineering, Projects, Finance, Vendors/SIs.
Familiarity with Uptime/Tier concepts, safety/ESG reporting, and relevant compliance frameworks.
Practical experience with digital twins for capacity, reliability, or energy optimization is not required, but would be an advantage.
ISO 55001 experience, BIM/Information Management certifications, and familiarity with systems like Maximo, SAP, ServiceNow PM, MRI, Autodesk/Bentley, or DCIM platforms are considered valuable assets. That said, we do not expect candidates to tick every box: these are nice‑to‑haves, not requirements.
Why join us?
Build the function: Establish and scale a central asset management capability across a growing multi‑site portfolio.
Strategic impact: Directly influence uptime, lifecycle cost, and sustainability outcomes.
Growth story: Be part of a newly established team in a growing Operations organization with a solid impact on Bulks growth.
From hands‑on to strategic: Start by getting the foundations right - then grow the team and mature the function.
What we offer our Bulkies:
A dynamic, growth-oriented workplace with a strong sustainability focus.
Comprehensive insurance (health, travel, business & private) and annual health check.
Additional time off during Easter and Christmas.
Monthly contribution to home internet costs and sustainable commuting.

For this role, we are flexible in terms of working location. We are also open to relocate the right candidate.
