MICE office assistant needed in Oslo
We are looking for a motivated Incoming MICE Assistant to join our Oslo team on a temporary basis from April to July 2026.
The MICE Assistant position primarily involves developing and maintaining an already existing client portfolio professionally and creatively within our growing meeting, incentive, conference, and events department.
We are looking for the right candidates for our MICE department in Oslo.
As our new MICE Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our managers in planning, coordinating, and eventually executing MICE projects. You will work closely with our MICE Senior/Project Managers, suppliers, venues, and clients to ensure flawless event operations — from proposals to execution.
This is a perfect role for someone who is highly service-minded, organized, proactive, and passionate about the event and hospitality industry.
Requirements: Norwegian Personal ID Number (11 digits).
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate suppliers, venues, transportation companies, hotels, and restaurants, etc.
Support with creating client proposals, programme drafts, cost estimates, and presentations.
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, rooming lists, timelines, and event documentation.
Support the team with logistics planning, event materials, and onsite coordination.
Communicate professionally with international clients and partners.
Research venues, activities, entertainment, and local experiences for client programmes.
Help ensure new/existing projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in hospitality, events, tourism, or customer service (internships also welcome)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office / M365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
Fluency in English; additional Nordic languages are a plus
