We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager who can keep a cool head while keeping the grill hot. At Kull Bar & Grill Tromsø, the food is the main attraction, and we need someone who can lead the kitchen with both structure and passion. As Kitchen Manager, you’ll be responsible for making sure every dish meets our quality standards – from the moment ingredients arrive to the moment the plates hit the table. You’ll be hands-on in the daily operations, lead your team, plan and organize, and make sure the kitchen is a great place to work.
Your responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team
Ensure all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation
Plan and organize kitchen operations, including staffing and shift schedules
Order supplies and keep tight control of food costs
Maintain routines for hygiene, health and safety, and internal control
Work actively in the kitchen, especially during busy periods
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and service team to create a seamless guest experience
We’re looking for someone who
Has experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef, preferably in a grill or high-volume restaurant
Has strong control over kitchen finances and food cost management
Is skilled at organizing and planning, but also enjoys being hands-on
Is a team player who builds strong relationships and brings out the best in people
Holds a chef’s certificate (an advantage, but not required)
