Are you ready to take on leading the development of our next generation Business Intelligence offering?
Netlife develops and operates a white label workflow and ecommerce platform used by volume photographers in more than 30 countries around the world. Our customers photograph more than 7 million students and athletes every year, and our ecommerce platform handles a yearly transaction value of more than 1000 MNOK.
To keep up with our growth and enable us to be even more ambitious in the future, we are now looking for more talented and friendly people to join our small but growing team.
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Analytics and Insights to elevate how we use data across our organization and to lead the development of our next-generation Business Intelligence offering.
In this role, you will work closely with the Tech and Product teams to strengthen our development processes through actionable insights and data-driven decision-making. You will also own the vision and implementation of a Business Intelligence dashboard that enables our customers to improve workflows and profitability through optimized use of the Netlife PhotoSuite platform.
You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Onboarding, Tech, and Product to ensure we have the right data foundation for both internal decision-making and customer-facing insights.
A key part of your mandate will be helping the organization identify and prioritize the types of insights that create the greatest business value. You understand that data and statistics are only valuable when they drive better decisions, improved workflows, or measurable commercial impact.
You will play a central role in coordinating data collection and usage across departments, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment in how we define, gather, and apply data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and leading our analytics and insights function
- Helping the organization define which insights create the most value - and ensuring we focus on those
- Driving a data-informed product development process
- Coordinating and aligning data collection across departments
- Designing and owning the roadmap for our Business Intelligence platform
- Translating complex commercial models and customer workflows into measurable insights and scalable BI solutions
- Planning, leading, and managing the implementation of our Business Intelligence product offering
- Ensuring alignment between business goals, product development, and data strategy
- Leading and developing relevant team members (people management responsibility)
We believe you'll bring
- A strong business mindset and a proven ability to understand complex commercial models and workflow processes
- A clear understanding that insights and statistics only matter when they create real organizational value
- Experience designing and building Business Intelligence platforms
- Significant experience from cross-functional software development projects (front-end and back-end), with a strong focus on data and insight-driven processes
- The ability to code and work hands-on with data when needed (you do not need to be a deep technical specialist, but you are comfortable understanding and contributing at a technical level)
- Leadership experience, including people management responsibility
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable plans for development teams
- Experience working directly with client and customer stakeholders
Why join us?
This is a key strategic role with real impact - both internally and externally. You will shape how we use data to drive smarter decisions, stronger products, and greater customer value across the Netlife PhotoSuite platform.
