Advisor, People Development (14-months maternity cover)
Are you passionate about developing people? So are we! We are looking for a highly skilled, proactive, and ambitious professional to create and execute world-class learning strategies and programs for our leaders and employees globally.
We are looking for someone to join our People Development team for a 14-month maternity cover. You'll work on a mix of employee and leadership development initiatives, supporting learning programs across our global offices in Oslo, London, New York, and Singapore.
This role is a highly visible internal role and requires significant interaction with people at all levels. You will be a part of a small team that work collaboratively on both strategic projects and day-to-day delivery. The role requires flexibility as you will contribute to program design and facilitation, as well as practical coordination and follow-through. We all pitch in on both the big-picture work and the practical details, so being hands-on is essential.
What you will do:
The role offers varied responsibilities, below you will find the main tasks:
Support on global people- and leadership development needs and execute on the prioritized initiatives
Partner with and advise the business on all learning and development activities
Facilitate for development activities across areas and locations, in close collaboration with the team, business areas, subject matter experts and external vendors.
Look for opportunities to continuously develop, simplify and automate our processes using AI or other technologies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and stakeholders, thus provide excellent service in a positive, professional, energetic, and humble way
Create engaging learning content using storytelling, video, and other formats that connect with people's intrinsic motivation and help drive behavioural change
Be hands on, proactive, detailed oriented in ensuring your projects are delivered
What we are looking for:
5+ years relevant experience within HR, preferably within people development in knowledge based and international organizations
Experience with design, delivery, and evaluation of leader and employee development solutions
Relevant university degree, preferably a master's degree with strong academic records
Fluent in spoken and written English and Norwegian
Relationship builder with strong communication skills
Strong Project Management skills ability to handle multiple priorities
You should be genuinely curious about how technology can enhance learning and development. This might mean:
Being comfortable exploring and experimenting with new digital tools and platforms
Understanding and/or exploring how AI or automation can improve learning experiences or simplify our processes
Staying curious about emerging technologies
