We are looking for a Instrument - Senior Engineer

Job Description

• Join a major greenfield offshore oil & gas project in the FEED and EPC phases as a Senior Instrument Engineer with strong competence in instrument actuated valves, including anti surge control valves
• Work as part of a large international project team, applying expertise in field instrumentation, package engineering, and cross-discipline coordination
• Design, coordinate, and follow up instrument valve packages and field instrumentation
• Act as Technical Responsible Engineer (PRE) for instrument valve packages
• Serve as Instrument Discipline Responsible Engineer (DRE) for mechanical equipment packages, in close cooperation with Mechanical PRE for compressor packages
• Oversee and evaluate vendor performance and technical documentation
• Identify, track, and communicate all required vendor information to ensure project progress
• Participate in FATs, inspections, and vendor site surveys
• Prepare, review, and finalize engineering documents and data registers
• Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or similar education
• Minimum 5 years' experience with field instrumentation design and specification in greenfield offshore oil & gas projects
• Minimum 4 years' experience with PRE activities for instrumentation valve packages
• Extensive knowledge of field instrumentation design according to standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, and IEC
• Efficient communicator with strong English skills, both written and spoken
• Cooperative working attitude with acceptance for a multicultural team environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Systematic and accurate, with strong commitment to deadlines and quality requirements
• Proactive mindset, seeking advice and sharing experience with others
• Required certificates: FSE course and EX course
