Product Designer - Energy Analytics

About the role

StormGeo Energy Analytics is building a next-generation analytics platform for the energy and power markets. The platform is developed from the ground up, while leveraging existing components, services, and capabilities from StormGeo’s technology organization. Our team is highly cross-functional, with collaboration across engineering, data science, meteorology, market analysis, and product design.

As a Product Designer, you will help shape user experiences for StormGeo’s new Energy Analytics platform. You will work closely with developers, data scientists, market analysts, and meteorologists to translate complex analytics into intuitive, high-quality digital products. The role combines working with centralized design systems and creating domain-specific customizations for power and energy analytics.

📍The preferred location for this position is Oslo, Norway. Other StormGeo office locations may be considered for the right candidate.

What you’ll do

• Drive product design from discovery to delivery.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and final UI solutions.
• Ensure usability, accessibility, and visual consistency.
• Provide clear design specifications and developer handoffs.

What we’re looking for

Core requirements

• Professional experience as a Product Designer.
• High proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
• Strong UX/UI and design system understanding.
• Ability to articulate and justify design decisions.
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams.

Nice to have

• Interest in AI-driven workflows
• Experience collaborating with React or Angular teams
• Experience with data-heavy or B2B products
