Senior Geoscientist

We’re looking for a Senior Geoscientist who wants to combine deep technical expertise with consulting, mentoring, and customer interaction. At SLB you will be a part of a highly skilled team that delivers impactful solutions across the entire subsurface value chain. 

What You Will Do

• Client Support: Deliver expert technical support by providing timely, clear, and effective assistance to client inquiries related to geological and geophysical workflows, both through the onsite and Customer Care Center. Collaborate closely with clients to troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and optimize their use of our technologies and workflows. Contribute to projects focused on developing localized workflows and tailored solutions. 

• Consulting Projects: Lead and contribute to consulting engagements by executing the geomodelling components of integrated workflows, applying industry-leading tools and sound geological interpretation. Support the evaluation of technical feasibility and contribute to the technical and commercial appraisal of tenders. 

• Public Training & Education: Deliver high-quality instruction through NeXT public training programs, enabling clients to effectively adopt our technologies and enhance their workflow efficiency and technical competence. 

• Continuous Learning & Development: Actively engage in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities to strengthen domain expertise, technical proficiency, and client engagement skills. Provide mentorship to junior team members through the SETC program. 

What You Bring  

• Master’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, or Earth Sciences 

• 10–15 years of experience in subsurface workflows, ideally across service delivery or consulting 

• Strong hands-on experience with Petrel (RMS or similar software is a plus) 

• Solid communication skills, you enjoy working with people and clients 

• Ability to take initiative, manage small project teams, and deliver results 

• Experience delivering training, mentoring others, or leading technical sessions 

• Professional proficiency in English
