Business Travel Consultant in AMEX GBT

As a Travel Consultant, you’ll join our highly skilled team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients. We’re most proud of our warm and inclusive culture, innovation in the travel tech space, internal awards and promotions, and career advancement opportunities.
Most of our Traveler Care leadership started in this role, and you can find us in almost every other department at Amex GBT.
What You’ll Do
Advise and arrange individual travel for corporate business customers
Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, car and accommodations
Use Amadeus as primary booking tool (Global Distribution System -GDS)
Communicate effectively with customers through telephone, chat and email
Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements
Act as a trusted advisor by using travel expertise to proactively provide professional advice and additional services
Work individually and as a team to meet business and account-specific goals

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience in travel, with focus on business travel
Deep understanding of fares and ticketing rules air, car and hotel
Passion for excellence in client service
Native GDS expertise in Amadeus
Professional communication in Norwegian and English (written and verbal)
Strong integrity and commitment to protecting traveller information
Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel or airline reservation)
Proven ability to resolve customer issues independently
Comfortable with high paced and changeable environment, and a natural eagerness to learning new things
Our Traveler Care Team work within the opening hours of 08-17 Monday thru Friday.
Location
Norway; In the office in Oslo or homebased. There is also a possibility for a flexible and combined solution.
