In this role, you will play a part in our dynamic real-time SW development team, delivering essential expertise for the development and maintenance of our real-time platforms.

We are looking for professionals with competence and interest in several of the following areas:

• Real-time SW development and troubleshooting
• Industrial communication protocols (CAN bus, OPC UA, Profibus/Profinet, Modbus, industrial ethernet, etc.) and general networking (IT/OT networks)
• Embedded systems
• Real-time control systems and applications
• I/O systems and data exchange mechanisms

You will be working with advanced real-time control and embedded systems. Your responsibility will include analysis, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of software running on our own controllers and I/O modules. We expect that you have experience of C/C++ programming and preferably analysis and design using UML. You should have an interest in hardware-near programming, as well as being self-driven, with interest and curiosity in relevant technologies.

What you will be doing

• Analysis, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of embedded software running on our own controllers and I/O modules
• Development of real-time software, especially components used to exchange information on field buses (using various protocols based on CAN, ethernet or serial lines)

We think you should have

• Bachelors or Masters degree with solid results in fields relevant for the position
• Understanding of real-time, hardware-near systems and field network protocols
• Experience with C/C++ programming
• Self-driven and confident of own technical expertise
• Service-minded and a passion for solving complex problems
