R&D Engineer Electronics & Embedded

Help us build the electronics and embedded systems behind ocean-space technologies that safeguard marine resources, monitor climate change, and protect critical infrastructure -  Protechting People and Planet.

Youll be contributing to the development of hydroacoustic sensors that involves high accuracy data acquisition, low-noise electronics and advanced digital signal processing - collaborating with experts across mechanical, electronics, firmware, software, and systems engineering.

Working in our team gives you the opportunity to

• Participate in the full development cycle: specification, architecture, design, simulation, prototyping, verification, and testing.

• Develop FPGA designs (VHDL), and/or embedded software for microcontrollers and real-time systems with robust verification.

• Contribute to electronics designs across digital and analog domains.

• Implement signal-processing pipelines, such as beamforming and filters.

• Document designs, processes, and test procedures; support production and qualification.

Experience in one or more of the following areas will help you thrive in this role:

• FPGA/ASIC design and verification (VHDL/Verilog)

• Electronics design

• Embedded software for microcontrollers and real-time systems

• Signal processing

• Testing and documentation of electronics systems

• Working across multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Good oral and written English or Norwegian communication skills.
