About the Role
NOV Process Systems is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to drive financial performance, enhance global visibility, and support strategic decision-making across its worldwide operations. Based in Fornebu, Oslo, this on-site role plays a key part within the Process Systems finance team, leading budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis while acting as a trusted financial partner to business management.
The role combines strategic FP&A ownership with hands-on exposure to project controlling. The Senior FP&A Analyst will support management with accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights, help keep stakeholders informed, and promote best practices across global Process Systems entities.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for Process Systems operations primarily in Norway.
· Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and management reports to support business decisions.
· Perform detailed financial and variance analyses, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
· Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to business leaders and senior management.
· Act as interim Project Controller when required, ensuring compliance with NOV standards and governance.
· Partner with global finance and business teams to harmonize financial processes and reporting frameworks.
· Support project teams with cost control, profitability analysis, and performance follow-up.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within FP&A and project controlling.
· Support investment evaluations, cost optimization initiatives, and growth-related analysis.

Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum 3+ years of experience in FP&A, project controlling, or corporate finance.
· Strong proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel, including financial modelling.
· Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across international teams.
· Professional proficiency in English.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
Experience within industrial, engineering, or energy-related sectors.
ERP experience (Oracle EBS preferred; SAP or similar systems also valued).
Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
