Step into a key role in treasury & liquidity

Fred. Olsen & Co. AS is responsible for the management of Bonheur ASA, listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The company provides a broad range of professional services within administration, finance, accounting, legal, IT, property management and HR to Bonheur and its subsidiaries as well as other Fred. Olsen-related companies. With origins tracing back to 1848, Bonheur has had a unique track record of transformation and venturing into a variety of new industries. Bonheur has ownerships across several business segments, including Renewable Energy, Wind Service, Cruise and Other investments.

Fred. Olsen & Co. AS is now strengthening its finance team by seeking a Treasury and Liquidity Manager to join the team in Oslo. This is a newly established role where the right candidate will play an important part in managing and developing Bonheur’s liquidity and treasury activities. The position offers a combination of hands-on operative tasks as well as the opportunity to further develop the treasury & liquidity strategy. You will collaborate closely with senior management in Fred. Olsen & Co. and with stakeholders across Bonheur’s subsidiaries.

This role is well suited for someone with a few years of relevant experience who is ready to take on broader responsibility and grow into a more central treasury position within a long-term oriented organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecast and manage Bonheur’s short- and long-term liquidity and currency positions
• Manage treasury and separate security portfolios in line with risk limits and strategy
• Contribute to value creation through optimizing risk-adjusted returns
• Further development of treasury-related strategies and policies
• Maintain and develop relevant relationships. i.a. with banks, brokers and fund managers
• Execution of transactions related to deposits, FX, securities and financial instruments
• Prepare appropriate and timely reporting for senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for someone with a solid financial foundation and a genuine interest in treasury and liquidity management.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or similar
• 2+ years of specific experience from treasury & liquidity management, or longer experience from other relevant roles within corporate finance, capital markets, portfolio management, etc.
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency working with numbers, forecasting and modelling
• Structured, responsible and able to work both independently and collaboratively
• High integrity and work ethics
• Strong communication skills in English and Norwegian
