Join Peak Agency in Stavanger in an exciting combined role covering both ship agency and freight forwarding.

This is a one-year project-based temporary position.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations between vessels/rigs, clients, shipowners, port authorities, and other stakeholders.

• Plan, coordinate, and book national and international transport and freight forwarding assignments, ensuring compliant, timely, and cost-effective execution.

• Prepare, verify, and manage all required shipping and transport documentation, including accurate freight calculations and customs documentation in line with applicable laws and regulations.

• Monitor and follow up all freight operations from planning through delivery, actively resolving issues and deviations as they occur.

• Attend port calls when required.

• Handle and verifying documentation and reporting from vessels/rigs.

• Manage customs clearance procedures.

• Process incoming invoices from relevant parties and issuing invoices to clients.

• Maintain close communication with suppliers, customers, captains, shipping companies, and port authorities.

Qualifications

• Relevant education within shipping/logistics and/or relevant experience
