Exciting opportunity - join our team as a Jr Treasury Analyst

Onyx CenterSource operates and develops its own services aimed at large international leading travel agencies and hotels. This position initially implies that you have experience within banking, but also has knowledge of accounting.

The Jr Treasury Analyst position is responsible for ensuring the department creates accurate and timely financial records and reconciliations for the organization. The position has full responsibility for monitoring customer funds on designated bank accounts. Onyx CenterSource AS has a very specific process for handling customer funds, which will be the responsibility of this position. The position may also be involved with regular accounting tasks

Role and responsibilities

Treasury:

• Monitoring and reconciliation of customer funds. Responsibility for customer payments.

• Updating ledgers and other financial records

• Internal reporting

• Advise and resolve unidentified payments.

• Assist Director of Finance with treasury tasks and reporting as needed

• Prepare relevant reports.

• Miscellaneous filing and other ad hoc support requests as required.

• Electronic Banking management; download/upload files, etc

In this position you will be independent and take responsibility for your tasks.

You are precise in your work and have an eye for details.

Qualifications

Minimum required:

• One to two (1-2) years of financial work experience.

• Effective oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Accounting experience

Preferred:

• Good understanding of banking systems and conventions.

• Knowledge of Foreign Exchange Operations, Foreign Exchange Rates, international payments, country restrictions and currency restrictions.

Education

Minimum required: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance/ accounting or similar

Span of control

Reports to: Director of Finance (positioned in Tønsberg)

Oversight: This position has no direct reports.
