Production Engineer

Location: Bergen, Stavanger, Stjørdal/Trondheim, or Oslo

Tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities will be dictated by the client's business needs and the candidate's competencies, but here are examples of what this role could entail:

Production and Energy Optimization

• Monitor daily production metrics and well performance.

• Implement operational adjustments to optimize energy usage and hydrocarbon output.

Well Monitoring, Maturation & Interventions

• Oversee well performance data and plan interventions.

• Mature wells—from concept to implementation—for new developments or enhancements.

Production Tech Input to Field Development

• Provide technical input during all phases (FEED, engineering, commissioning) of field development or modification.

• Ensure integration of subsurface, topside and production infrastructure data.

Operational Planning & Multidisciplinary Coordination

• Develop and follow up operational plans in collaboration with subsurface, topside, drilling, and wells teams.

• Coordinate across disciplines to ensure safe and optimized execution of interventions and modifications.

Qualifications

• BSc. in relevant engineering field and 2+ years’ relevant experience with similar tasks on the NCS, or a MSc. in relevant engineering field.

• Experience with production technology in subsurface disciplines.

• Full professional proficiency in English and Norwegian.
