Senior Planner

We are looking for new Senior Planners to strengthen our Commercial department in Stavanger, Haugesund or Bergen. You will help the project make the best decisions by providing critical information, optimizing project delivery, and always looking ahead to the next project phase.

About the position

In a dynamic project environment, you will actively support the project team and establish an integrated project plan by proactively collecting information from various stakeholders and integrate them into a fully linked planning network. To succeed in this role, you need to be systematic, accurate, and appreciate a busy and rewarding workday.

Responsibilities and tasks include

• Establish and monitor project plans for both Maintenance and Modification projects

• Contribute to controlled project execution in line with project plans and hour budgets

• Import and verify progress data

• Perform trend analysis, evaluate criticality, and assess the impact of potential delays and changes

• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and administrative guidelines related to planning

• Report and communicate overall project status internally and to the client

• Provide active support to the project team

• Present and communicate the overall plan in meetings

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in technical or commercial disciplines (Extensive and relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education)

• 5-10 years of experience in similar roles

• SAFRAN knowledge

• ProArc (preferred)

• SAP (preferred)

Personal qualities

• Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented

• Strong contract and commercial understanding

• Focused on continuous improvements and digitalization/automation

• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English

• Strong collaboration skills and a positive contributor to a healthy work environment

• Knowledge of project execution methodology is desirable
