About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Spare Parts team at NOV’s Molde office. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing your own customer portfolio, and supporting spare parts and inventory solutions for NOV’s global customer base. The position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality customer support and efficient aftermarket services, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and long-term value creation.
You will work closely with colleagues across disciplines and interact with customers worldwide, supporting NOV’s ambition to deliver reliable, innovative, and sustainable lifting solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Receive, review, and process customer inquiries related to spare parts
Follow up and manage your own customer portfolio, ensuring high service quality
Support and manage emergency stock and inventory-related activities
Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet customer needs
Contribute to continuous improvement of spare parts and logistics processes
Perform other related tasks within the Spare Parts department as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a university or college, or equivalent relevant experience
Technical interest and understanding, with the ability to learn complex products
Strong communication skills in English
Structured and analytical approach to administrative tasks
Desired Qualifications:
Experience from a technical, sales, or aftermarket role
Background from the energy, offshore, or maritime industry
Experience working with international customers and cross-functional teams
Fluency in Norwegian
Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
