Exciting opportunity in offshore instrumentation

Jefferson Wells is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Instrument/Senior Engineer. This is a long-term contract role based in Asker, offering the opportunity to work on complex offshore and renewable energy projects. We are looking for a candidate with strong expertise in instrumentation design and standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, and IEC.
Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform field instrumentation and metering design for FEED phase projects.
• Develop philosophies and solutions to the required level.
• Create strategies, philosophies, and design measurement solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation for ITT preparation.
• Participate in and arrange meetings, workshops, and discipline reviews.

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical College Diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field instrumentation design, measurement solutions, and principles for onshore or offshore greenfield projects.
• Deep knowledge of instrumentation and metering design according to NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, and IEC standards.
• Valid Ex course (renewed every 5 years) and FSE course.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Cooperative attitude and ability to work in multicultural teams.
• Independent, systematic, and accurate with high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements.
• Proactive and willing to share knowledge and seek advice.
