Job DescriptionSenior Specialist Infrastructure – Process Control
Are you passionate about infrastructure, servers and cybersecurity—and ready to make a real impact at a global leader in renewable energy?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure team within Process Control. In this role, you will work with critical systems that support the safe and stable production of clean energy across Statkraft’s extensive power plant portfolio. Whether you are a seasoned expert or early in your career with a curious mindset and willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply.
As a Senior Specialist within the OT Infrastructure team you will:
- Operate and maintain OT server infrastructure (VMware, Windows, Linux).
- Manage Microsoft services in OT environments (AD, DNS, PKI, Group Policy).
- Take operational ownership of selected OT applications and platforms.
- Maintain infrastructure in control rooms, data centres and production sites.
- Enhance cybersecurity through patching, monitoring and log reviews.
- Support risk and vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance.
- Develop automation using Ansible, PowerShell or Python.
- Operate network and server monitoring tools.
- Advise on OT infrastructure and collaborate with external suppliers.
(Experience with network equipment is a plus.).
We are looking for a Senior Specialist with the right mindset and skills to help our team. That includes:
- Relevant university degree in IT, networking or information security.
- Certifications in IT or cybersecurity are advantageous.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure, networks and security solutions.
- Experience aligned with the responsibilities listed above.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Passion for learning and staying up to date professionally.
- Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
- Driver’s licence (Category B).
Relevant experience and personal qualities may compensate for lack of formal education.
