Want to redefine marine energy infrastructure?
This is more than a typical Process Engineer role - it’s a chance to contribute meaningfully to a growing company that challenges the status quo and redefines marine energy infrastructure. Your experience and talent will help guide important projects and play a part in shaping how energy is transferred in the future.
As our new Process Engineer, you will contribute to ensuring that the process systems we deliver are safe and efficient. You will combine hands-on engineering with disciplined leadership, safeguarding quality and driving innovation and continuous improvement in all process-related work.
We are looking for a Process Engineer to lead the design and development of process systems for ECOnnect’s floating terminal solutions according to customer needs, working hands-on with advanced technology and collaborating within a small, dedicated multidisciplinary team of motivated professionals, all pulling in the same direction.
Some of the responsibilities of the position:
Take ownership of process engineering deliverables and outcomes, ensuring your work directly contributes to project success and company growth.
Lead and contribute to process design and development, including PFDs, P&IDs, simulations, and calculations.
Support technical decisions to ensure compliance, safety, and quality.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate external resources when needed.
Together, we deliver robust, compliant, and innovative solutions across sales, projects, and R&D-enabling energy terminals worldwide, and we take pride in the quality and impact of every system we deliver.
Who we believe you are
As our Process Engineer, we believe it is important to have:
Relevant education within process engineering.
Solid background in process engineering, with proficiency in developing process diagrams (PFD/P&ID), process calculations, and simulations.
Familiarity with design and commissioning processes within EPC project environments.
The ability to provide discipline leadership, ensuring technical quality, compliance, and sound decision-making as required by the position level.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Beyond your technical expertise, your ability to ensure quality, share knowledge, coordinate with both internal teams and consultants, and proactively contribute new ideas will be key to delivering robust process solutions and driving continuous improvement at ECOnnect Energy.
What we can offer
Just as much as we care about what you bring to the table, we’re equally committed to what we can offer you and your career growth. When you join us, you can expect:
Impactful and purpose-driven work contributing to meaningful and innovative projects worldwide
Collaborative culture where you work alongside passionate colleagues in a supportive and open-minded team
We offer a flexible setup that supports both a good work-life-harmony and our project-based work cycle and the different phases

Benefit package that includes:
Competitive OTP pension
An extensive insurance package for both you and your family
A bonus program
Fitness and wellness program, training budget
Social activities.
If you’re driven to shape the future of a more efficient and sustainable infrastructure for transport of LNG and want to grow with a team that’s bold, trusted, and future-focused - we hope to hear from you!
