Looking for a Software Developer Passionate About Physics-Based Simulation and experience with C/C++

We aim to strengthen our engineering team with a Software Developer to support development and integration of software solutions and technology to support NTi’s core technology. You will be a part of the Eggemoen Technology Center team working with engineering experts within metallurgy, process control, image processing, mechanical design, quality, automation, and program management.

What your day looks like:

• Contribute to the development, testing and deployment of software solutions enabling the vision of Print in a Day, included the tool to generate RPD® parts, Process Simulation and machine simulation and Data Analysis and visualization tools

• Implement and or improve algorithms for motion/path planning, kinematics, process control, machine code generation

• Collaborate closely with domain experts, including materials, physics, automation, cybernetics to gather requirements and provide consultation on software development to enable the vision of Print in a Day

• Support organization in use of software tools, including training and user support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities

We’re thrilled to find Candidates with:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, cybernetics or similar

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience from software development using C/C++

• Solid understanding or experience with 3D-simuliation/ signal analysis of complex physical processes/ kinematics/ machine-simulation

• Technical interest and experience from working in a multidisciplinary team

• Fast learner with strong curiosity and the initiative to dive into unfamiliar code and domains

• Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable engineering work

• An interest and drive towards additive manufacturing production machines and equipment
