With teams across Norway and in more than 20 countries worldwide, we give local ideas global opportunities. From offices in San Francisco and Palo Alto, we connect Norwegian companies to the U.S. ecosystem and support U.S. companies entering Norway.

The role and responsibilities:
Assist Norwegian companies entering North America.
Support companies in all aspects of sales.
Provide professional advice to our clients and play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of their export priorities.
Proactively engage to identify and promote export opportunities and effectively build strong relationships with key partners nationally and internationally.
Accommodate and train Norwegian executives through Innovation Norway’s global competence programmes.
Facilitate impactful business conferences, networking events and executive visiting programmes.
Actively contribute to driving a culture of collaboration and high performance empowering Norwegian businesses in existing and future prioritized sectors.
Provide market updates, collecting and leveraging data.
Key competencies and personal skills:
Master’s degree within technology or business.
Knowledge of relevant industries and businesses (please elaborate on area of expertise), and evidence of the ability to deliver client impact within allocated budgets, i.e. from management consultancy.
Significant understanding of the commercial drivers of trade and investment.
Experience and proven results from Sales or Business Development/Consulting.
Minimum four years of working experience.
Well-developed sensitivity to secure confidence of clients and key stakeholders, and the resilience to operate in a highly competitive business culture and under sustained pressure.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage.

The role will include some travelling and requires a valid work permit in the US.
Work location will be San Francisco with occasional work from Palo Alto, and is a local position with local employment terms and conditions.
