Golar LNG | Operations Manager

On behalf of Golar LNG, we are seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the performance of one or more FLNG units in compliance with Golar standards and applicable legislations. You will be the primary interface with the offshore team. This includes management of day-to-day support to the FLNG and its team.

As the Operations Manager, you will report to the Asset Manager. You will have line responsibility for key roles including the Offshore Installation Manager, Maintenance Manager, Base Manager and Offshore Personnel Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe operations of the FLNG and assuring the FLNG's performance targets are met
• Responsible for approval processes for Risk Assessment, Deferrals and MOC's
• Manage the cumulative risk status with the FLNG
• Provide experience feedback to FLNG projects and actively contribute to the sharing of best practices across the fleet.
• Ensuring implementation of manuals, procedures and other relevant documents for operations of the FLNG. This includes also interface procedures and protocols with Client.
• Work closely with Offshore Personnel Manager for recruitment of offshore personnel, define competence requirements and to establish career plans for local and expat personnel.
• Member of the emergency response team and act as Emergency Response Team Lead (ERTL)

• Minimum 10 years' experience from Operations in shipping or oil and gas industry,
• Minimum 5 years' experience from management positions in shipping or oil and gas industry
