Weatherford Norge AS is hiring a Welder to join our workshop team in Stavanger. This is a great opportunity if you enjoy working with tools, want to grow your experience, and take pride in quality work.

About the Role

As a Carbide Welder, you will help repair and rebuild tools and equipment used offshore. Your tasks will include welding (brazing, arc and gas), cutting, grinding, and other workshop work. You will follow drawings and work orders to make sure everything is done safely and correctly.

You will receive full training and support, including online learning and classroom sessions, so you feel confident in the role.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Weld and rebuild equipment using different welding techniques

• Cut, grind, and prepare surfaces as needed

• Work with various welding tools and machines

• Support general workshop tasks when needed

Qualifications:

• Experience with carbide welding or brazing is a plus

• 1–3 years of welding experience

• Welding certificate is an advantage but not required.

• Enjoys practical work and working in a team

• Willing to learn and take on new tasks

• Communicates well in English (spoken and written)
