On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Structural Engineer

Job Description

• Perform structural engineering and design to sea fastening design, design of installation aids, subsea permanent structure
• Produce structural engineering reports and drawings for fabrication and design items
• Provide technical input into vessel design; e.g. deck strength & capacity
• Follow up subcontractors for fabrication of equipment and installation aids 
• Provide input to dynamic installation analysis as required
• Attend vessel mobilisations and/or offshore trips when required
• Mentor junior colleagues

Qualification Requirements

• 5-10yrs, experience at senior/principal level
• SURF / Marine Operations is essential
• Experience with seafastening & installation aids design is essential
• Experience with relevant standards, codes and class requirements is required
• Good knowledge of relevant material, fabrication, welding and testing requirements
• Ability to step into a "Package Lead" role, with a strong track record of managing and following up subcontractors delivering engineering services
• Capable of supporting fast pace tender activities with rational approach using previous experiences
