We’re looking for a Meeting and Event Manager to join our team!
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Meeting and Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and events. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional events that align with our company’s goals.
We are seeing an increase in demand in this market and are doing our best to meet our guests' needs in this unique destination.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and manage meetings, conferences, and special events.
Serve as the contact point for the Sales team and F&B operations.
Lead and manage a team, including scheduling and task delegation.
Handle orders and procurement of necessary supplies.
Work with clients, internal teams, and vendors.
Project Management and oversee event timelines and budgets.
Education and experience in Hospitality Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience in people management
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and adaptable in high-pressure situations
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is also required.
Excellent communication skills in English are required, and proficiency in Norwegian is preferred.
Possessing a valid driver's license is considered an advantage for this role.
