Main responsebilities and tasks

• Lead PLC software development for new projects

• Update and bug fixings on existing PLC systems

• Operation support and troubleshooting on existing system

• Implement new or update existing HMI

• Lead testing and commissioning of new PLC systems

• Coordinate with offshore crew  and plan for installation of updated software offshore

• Update and maintain documentation (Tag lists, IO lists, functional specifications)

• Participate in feed studies

• Update simulator requirements

• Participate in on duty phone

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum Bachelor of Science within Automation, Control system, Computer Systems

• Preferred minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within Siemens PCS7 Systems  

• In depth experience within  SIMATIC S7-400 PLCs

• Experience with Siemens WinCC

• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal

• Experience with network and communication protocols

• Experience and understanding with SQL databases

• Experience scripting in VBS, ANSI-C or VBA for WinCC is a plus

• Preferred overall understanding of drilling process and subsea equipment

• Master English, both verbal and written
