Your role and responsibilities

At our Bryne site, we are at the forefront of developing world-class paint robots, with a rich history dating back to the 1960s. In our R&D unit in Bryne we have a strong multidiscipline development team with competence within electronics, software, mechanical and electro-mechanical development. Compliance with the Machine Regulation is a key factor in all disciplines. In the role as R&D Senior Engineer, Safety you will play an important role in performing risk analysis, FMEA analyses, interpreting requirements, performing assessments etc. You need to have the ability to work in a structured way.

Qualifications for the role

• Competence within risk analysis, FMEA, Machine safety and ISO13849.

• Preferably also knowledge about ISO10218 robot safety, ATEX directive and EMC directive

• MSc or BSc within a relevant field (Electronics, Software, Mechanical or Electro-mechanical)

You will report to R&D Technical Product Manager and Business support and collaborate closely with Technology Managers, Project leaders and engineers within the different technical domains.
