ROEST, a leading Norwegian tech scale-up, is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help drive our next phase of international growth. Over the past decade, we’ve built a global success story by revolutionizing coffee roasting through advanced sensor technology. Today, our solutions are used by top-tier coffee professionals in over 90 countries.

With the launch of our new production roaster, the ROEST P3000, which was just awarded Best New Product, we are now set to scale significantly in the coming years. About the role

As ROEST’s COO, you will be responsible for daily operations across all departments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This role is heavily focused on people management, requiring a leader who can empower and develop our team while working closely with the founders (CEO & CTO) and department heads on execution. Key responsibilities:

• Strategy: As a key member of the executive team, contribute to the development and refinement of company strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.

• Operations: Oversee and optimize daily operations across departments, identify opportunities and initiate action plans to ensure ROEST has highly efficient, scalable and quality-oriented operations.

• Growth: Drive sustainable growth by ensuring our processes, systems, and teams evolve in line with our expansion, scaling in a way that strengthens both our business and our culture.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.

• A master's degree in business, economics, technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Oslo-based or willing to relocate: the role is based in Oslo, Norway.
