About the position 

We're looking for a passionate, proactive, and soon-to-be graduate who's ready to kick start their career with Nexans. You'll work closely with our seasoned professionals, learning from the best while applying your newly acquired skills and creativity to real-life projects. 

As a Commercial Graduate you will join one of the following key commercial departments: Controller, Purchasing, Legal and QHSER. These essential departments continually work on supporting the execution of our turn-key projects for subsea and land cable manufacturing and installation around the globe. 

We are seeking Commercial Graduates in four key areas: 

• Cost Graduate: In this position you will be part of the project cost controller team. You will support in ensuring cohesive financial planning and cost management on our projects. 
• Purchasing Graduate: In this position you will be part of the project team that works with the subcontractors. You will be part of coordinating purchasing related activities throughout the lifetime of tenders and projects. 
• Contract Management Graduate: In this position you will be part of the project team that oversees contract management. You will be participating in contract reviews and raising contractual awareness during the project execution phase. 
• QA, HSE or RISK - Graduate: In this position you will be part of the team that oversees QHSER in the projects. We are looking for someone that can start with either QA, HSE or RISK.

Qualifications 

• You are currently in your last year of a Bachelor's or Master's program within the field of Finance, Purchasing, Economics, Business, Legal Industrial Engineering or Safety, Security & Risk Management.
• An eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Norwegian is a plus.
