Who we are

We are Elaway! We exist to accelerate the green transition in Europe, from fossil fuels to electricity. We do so by making the installation and operation of charging facilities for housing communities easy. 

The Norwegian EV market is booming, and the country has been the perfect playground for us while experimenting with the market needs. In 2022, we have established offices in Sweden and Germany as a major step in realising our ambitions.

In our global roles, you get to work together with colleagues on an international level keeping an eye on the overall picture and driving the development of Elaway and its product exceeding country borders.

We need your help

As Elaway is growing at rocket speed, our finance department has more and more topics on their table making sure everything is running smoothly. Therefore, we need more hands on deck and look for a Senior Business Controller to support our finance team in controlling, forecasting and working together with the local management teams in our different markets.  

This is your role

You will play a central role in developing and professionalizing Elaway’s finance processes and routines as well as you will be an important driver to set-up a scalable global finance function. Your workday will consist of various tasks within forecasting, business cases, controlling and investments.

You will be working together with local management in our different markets as well as global management to ensure that Elaway is reaching our goals. You will have responsibility for proactive performance management through supporting and challenging the management.

Being a scale-up, we have not one dedicated person for all tasks. This means that you will also participate in other projects within the Finance team if needed.

Who are you

In terms of background, we believe that you have at least 5-6 years of experience from similar roles. You need to be fluent in English (both verbally and written).

Moreover, you have a higher education (Master degree) with strong academical results and are able to transform data into insight and conclude from a large dataset. You are also a champion in Excel and Powerpoint and experience with BI-systems that would be a plus.

As a person, you have a strong curious mind and have strong analytical skills. You are proactive, take initiative and are business-oriented. Additionally, you have a hands-on attitude, bring solutions to the table and are able to run and initiate processes using your excellent communication and collaboration skills.
