An authentic piece of Italian textile heritage, this large, square festival shawl (scialle grande) is a stunning example of traditional Sardinian costume wear, highly characteristic of the master artisans of Oliena (Nuoro, Sardinia), dating to the mid-20th century.
Worn folded diagonally over the shoulders, the exquisite floral embroidery is strategically placed to create a beautiful, trailing "V" shape down the wearer's back.
- Size: Generous full-scale dimensions of 110 cm x 110 cm (approx. 43" x 43") excluding the border and fringe. This is the highly sought-after large format, significantly rarer than smaller headscarves.
