The Edge 540 is a new-generation training model from Nine Eagles with a three-axis stabilization system, a multifunctional autopilot and unique modes of training and flight automation. Wingspan – 460 mm, weight with battery – 78 g.
Nine Eagles suggests rethinking everything you know about learning models! The fundamentally new half-copy of the famous Edge 540 aerobatic aircraft is not only equipped with an excellent stabilization system that excludes the influence of wind and turbulence, but also is capable of itself, without the intervention of the pilot, to perform the most responsible and dangerous stages of flight! The most daring expectations of many modelers have come true – automatic takeoff and landing, as well as unique modes of automatic return and retention of flight altitude allow you to learn the art of piloting step by step without the help of a simulator and an experienced mentor!
Edge 540 will surprise not only the stability of flight! Not all beginner pilots will like the classic training model, and this can be understood - aircraft of this class, for the sake of simplicity and strength, look monotonous and primitive, flight characteristics do not always meet expectations... Forget about compromises! Spectacular color scheme and recognizable appearance will make an impression even before the first flight, but the brightest sensations await you in the air. You may have heard of the Red Bull Air Race series? The Edge 540 regularly brings its drivers prize-winning places in the most challenging and exciting air races. The model from Nine Eagles is worthy of its prototype and is able to perform the same dizzying figures of the highest pilot!
The model is fully assembled and ready to fly, just charge the battery. For the first time, the model from the Nine Eagles micro-class is equipped with a 2S Li-PO battery and an incredibly powerful brushless engine! The Nine Eagles Edge 540 3G is optionally compatible with all Futaba transmitters using the S-FHSS protocol!

The model is equipped with a three-axis stabilization system. High-precision gyroscopes compensate for the influence of wind and turbulence, making the flight more predictable. In addition, thanks to the 3G system, the new Edge 540 is capable of performing most 3D aerobatics figures previously available only for plus-size models!
It is enough just to bring the engine to maximum speed - and after a few meters of the run-up, the model will be in the air! The function works both when starting from the hand and when taking off from any hard surface.
Landing is traditionally considered the most difficult and dangerous flight stage for any aircraft, except the new Nine Eagles Edge 540! Just point the model to the strip and remove the engine speed – and in a few seconds the model will gently and realistically touch the ground.
For the first time, a plane of such a small size is able to return to you in automatic mode! This function will help to avoid loss of the model even with a complete loss of visual control. This decision will certainly be appreciated by the beginner pilots, for whom the Edge 540 is the first radio-controlled model.
Special mode allows you to set the desired flight altitude and fully focus on the control of the roll and the course - the automation will support the model in a steady horizontal flight and correct any, even the most gross errors in management!
