Selger dobbelt-CDen «Back In The Base» med Coldcut & DJ Food på den ene siden og DJ Krush på den andre. Originalt cover med booklet og full låtliste inni.
The Project Structure
• CD 1: "Coldcut & DJ Food Fight" (Mixed primarily by PC/Patrick Carpenter and Strictly Kev/Kevin Foakes under Coldcut’s executive eye): A 60-minute cut-and-paste mix drawing heavily from the Ninja Tune back and front catalogs (featuring tracks from Funki Porcini, The Herbaliser, DJ Vadim, Luke Vibert, Amon Tobin, and Up, Bustle & Out). It leans into alternative, breakbeat, and deep, atmospheric trip-hop.
• CD 2: "Back In The Base" (Mixed by DJ Krush): DJ Krush brings a distinct East-meets-West perspective, focusing on a more jazz-inflected, moody, and hip-hop-centric selection.
Key Details
• Release Date: February 4, 1997 (initially conceived as a Japan-only project).
• Concept: An "East versus West" showcase of 1990s trip-hop and abstract hip-hop production, highlighting the collage-heavy, deck-work aesthetic of the era.
