We're looking for a Senior Accounting Business Partner to join our accounting organization in Norway. This is a highly independent and business-facing role where you'll combine technical accounting expertise with trusted advisory support for both Siemens AS and Siemens Mobility AS. 

Working closely with local management, the Regional Hub, Global Business Services and accounting experts across Siemens, you'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality accounting, reporting, and financial governance in a complex international environment.

You'll make a difference by

• Acting as a trusted accounting partner to and supporting complex project and contract accounting topics

• Taking ownership of IFRS 16 accounting and statutory lease reporting for Siemens' Norwegian legal entities

• Ensuring accurate accounting treatment and revenue recognition for large and complex projects in accordance with IFRS 15

• Providing accounting guidance and support throughout the lifecycle of strategic customer projects

• Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in collaboration with Global Business Services and the Regional Hub

• Coordinating statutory reporting and supporting the preparation of annual financial statements

• Serving as a key contact for external auditors and supporting audit activities

• Collaborating with accounting experts and business partners across Siemens, including colleagues in Germany

• Translating complex accounting requirements into practical business guidance

• Driving continuous improvements in accounting processes, controls, and reporting quality

Your success is grounded in

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field 

• Several years of experience in senior accounting, audit, financial reporting, or accounting business partnering roles 

• Strong expertise in IFRS and statutory accounting requirements 

• Deep knowledge of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16, including complex projects and lease accounting 

• Experience working in a large international and matrix-based organization 

• The ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and collaborate across functions and countries 

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 

• A proactive and independent approach, with confidence in taking ownership of complex accounting topics 

• Experience working with SAP and financial reporting systems 

• Fluency in Norwegian and English 

• German language skills are considered an advantage
