Vintage Bergans of Norway "Walker" heavy duty canvas backpack from the 80s
Bergans of Norway is a pioneer in the outdoor world. This specific "Walker" model is from the 1980s. It marries heavy-duty traditional cotton-canvas fabric (which is naturally water-repellent when tightly woven) with nylon strap webbing, heavy plastic ITW Nexus-style side-squeeze buckles, YKK heavy duty zips, and a secondary lower Norwegian flag patch.
Built as a lightweight anatomical or soft-structured pack. It relies on internal stiffening support or a very streamlined, closely integrated frame designed to curve naturally to the hiker's spine.
Like new - in excellent condition - clean and crisp canvas, labels in perfect condition, all buckets working smoothly, all zippers are smooth and tight.
No spots, no tears no scratches no damages.
