Are you ready to take on a position in our Customer Service export department?
ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of our Commercial Customer Service team, you will join a group of dedicated and highly skilled colleagues committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders across functions and countries to ensure seamless customer support and operational excellence.
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service by applying your industry knowledge and expertise. You will contribute to a high-performing team environment while ensuring compliance with MSC's guidelines, business objectives, and strategic priorities.
As a Customer Service Export Representative, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating export bookings from Norwegian ports to destinations worldwide. The role includes daily interaction with customers, coordination with international colleagues, preparation and management of shipping documentation, arrangement of haulage services, and delivery of value-added logistics solutions, all aligned with MSC Norway's commercial strategy.
THIS IS YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support business growth and customer retention.
Establish and strengthen relationships with MSC agents and overseas offices to enhance collaboration and commercial opportunities.
Contribute to a positive, motivated, and high-performing team environment.
Continuously develop your professional competencies through active learning and personal development initiatives.
Proactively identify and implement improvements to customer service processes, procedures, and quality standards.
Support the execution of company strategies and the ongoing development of customer service activities.
Contribute to business development initiatives across subsidiaries and regions within your area of responsibility.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a service-oriented and commercially minded professional who can balance customer needs with MSC's business objectives. Previous experience within shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or customer service will be considered an advantage. Relevant education in logistics, maritime studies, or supply chain management may compensate for limited industry experience.
We also expect candidates to demonstrate:

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Speak and write fluent English and Norwegian.
Work comfortably in Excel and Outlook (Power BI and ODBC skills are a bonus).
