For our client, we are seeking a skilled and motivated C++ Engineer to join a highly competent and international development environment within medical technology.

The company develops advanced hand-held ultrasound systems used by healthcare professionals worldwide. As part of the team behind the Vscan Air product family, you will work closely with both software and hardware engineers to develop and maintain automated test solutions for wireless ultrasound systems. Your work will contribute to ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance through hardware-in-the-loop testing, test automation, and continuous integration.

This is an opportunity to work with advanced technology in a highly regulated environment, while contributing to innovative products that support improved diagnostics and patient care.

This is an assignment with expected start in November 2026 and assignment until December 31st 2027. There is a good possibilities for extension for the right candidate. In this role you will play a key role in developing and maintaining automated test solutions for advanced wireless ultrasound systems. Working in a cross-functional and international environment, you will contribute to ensuring product reliability, performance, and quality through modern software development and test automation practices.
Furthermore, you will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated stress tests and test functionality using modern C++
  • Maintain hardware setups for automated testing and contribute to CI/CD integration and test infrastructure
  • Support troubleshooting, debugging, test-failure analysis, and continuous improvements to product testability

The right candidate is a self-driven and structured engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges. You take ownership of your work, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where quality and precision are essential. You are curious about technology, motivated by continuous improvement, and capable of balancing speed and quality in a highly regulated product environment.
Furthermore, you have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant STEM discipline (relevant experience may compensate for formal education)
  • Strong experience with modern C++ development (C++17 or later)
  • Experience with software testing, including unit, integration, and system testing
  • A strong interest in hardware-in-the-loop testing and automated test environments
  • Experience with build and test automation tools and CI/CD workflows
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken

It is considered an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience developing applications for Android and/or iOS
  • Knowledge of electronics, circuit diagrams, or embedded systems
  • Experience with log analysis, observability, and software delivery analytics
  • Experience working with Linux, Linux kernel development, or microcontroller programming
