Shape the Future of Quality and Compliance at CxS Nordics

About CxS Nordics

CxS Nordics, part of the CTS Group, provides specialist commissioning services across the Nordic region, Europe and beyond. We support complex technical projects through independent commissioning expertise, helping our clients ensure that critical systems are properly tested, verified, and ready for operation.

We bring together technical expertise, industry experience, and a strong commitment to quality and project delivery. Our people work closely with clients, project teams, and partners to deliver reliable commissioning solutions and continuously improve the way we work.

Our Values

  • Act Professionally: We uphold the highest standards of integrity and technical excellence in every interaction.
  • Be Honest & Trustworthy: Transparency and accountability define how we operate with our clients, partners, and each other.
  • Strive for the Best: We continuously raise the bar, driving quality and innovation in every project we deliver.

CxS Nordics is now looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager to take ownership of our quality, compliance and regulatory framework as our organization continues to grow internationally.

This is a central role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to a fast-moving technical environment and combining strategic responsibility with practical implementation. You will work across the organization to ensure that our processes, projects and ways of working meet applicable requirements and consistently high standards.

About the role

As Quality & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving CxS Nordics' quality and compliance framework.

Your responsibilities will span quality management systems, ISO standards, regulatory compliance, audits, risk management and continuous improvement. Just as importantly, you will work closely with the people who use these systems in practice.

You will collaborate with management, project teams and engineers across different locations, helping translate regulatory requirements and quality standards into clear and effective ways of working.

The position combines strategic ownership with hands-on implementation. You will be expected to identify risks and opportunities, challenge existing processes where needed and ensure that improvements are implemented across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain the company's Quality Management System and associated processes.
  • Maintain and further develop systems related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Ensure company processes and policies remain aligned with relevant legislation, regulations, standards and internal requirements.
  • Maintain quality and compliance documentation, records and certifications to ensure continuous audit readiness.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up findings and corrective actions.
  • Carry out risk assessments and support the organization in identifying and mitigating quality and compliance risks.
  • Investigate compliance concerns, complaints and potential non-conformities and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Act as a central point of contact for quality and compliance matters, including contact with certification bodies, auditors and other external stakeholders when required.
  • Work closely with project and site teams to ensure quality requirements are maintained throughout commissioning activities.
  • Ensure testing, verification and relevant project quality documentation are properly documented and completed.
  • Drive post-project reviews and lessons learned, translating findings into improvements to procedures and future project delivery.
  • Develop and deliver relevant quality and compliance training across the organization.
  • Report on quality performance, compliance, risks and relevant metrics to senior management.
  • Promote a strong culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who combines strong competence within quality, compliance and governance with a practical understanding of how requirements need to work in a real project environment.

You are structured and detail-oriented, but also pragmatic. You understand that strong quality management is not only about producing documentation, but about creating processes that people understand, follow and use to improve delivery.

You likely have:

  • 3-5 years or more of relevant experience within quality assurance, compliance, regulatory frameworks, governance or a similar role.
  • Experience from construction, engineering, high-tech, industrial or other complex project environments.
  • Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Experience with quality management systems, audits, risk assessments and corrective action processes.
  • Experience maintaining documentation and preparing an organization for internal or external audits.
  • Experience with post-project reviews, lessons learned and continuous improvement.
  • Working knowledge of Norwegian laws, regulations, standards and business practices relevant to construction or technical project environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Teams, as well as relevant quality or document management systems.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of Norwegian or another Nordic language will be considered an advantage.

Experience from data centers, critical infrastructure, construction, electrical installations or complex commissioning environments would also be highly relevant.

A bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Business, Quality Management or a related discipline is preferred, but relevant professional experience may be equally valuable.

What we offer

  • A key role in a fast-growing international organization.
  • Ownership of an important function with significant opportunity to influence how CxS works as the company develops.
  • The opportunity to further develop our quality and compliance framework and turn requirements into practical ways of working.
  • Close collaboration with management, engineers and project teams across different locations.
  • Exposure to technically complex data center and critical infrastructure projects.
  • An international and professional working environment.
  • Opportunities to visit our projects and international locations.
  • Competitive salary and conditions.

Don't meet every requirement?

Research shows that women and other underrepresented groups are often less likely to apply for a role unless they meet every qualification. At CxS, we value diversity and believe that different perspectives and experiences strengthen our organization.

If you're excited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed, we still encourage you to apply. Your experience may be a great fit for this position, or for another opportunity with us.
