We currently have an exciting opportunity for experienced Drillers to join our offshore team.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The Driller is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient execution of drilling operations, maintaining well control, and leading the drill floor crew.

• Operate drilling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Supervise and lead the drill floor crew, including Assistant Drillers, Derrickmen, and Roughnecks.
• Manage and monitor drilling and well operations in accordance with approved procedures.
• Maintain well control readiness and respond effectively to any well control event.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, drilling programs, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate activities with the COSL drilling crew, Operator representatives, and third-party service personnel.
• Accurately record and report operational data in drilling reports and electronic systems.
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance requirements as necessary.
• Lead emergency response activities on the drill floor when required.
• Mentor and develop crew members, ensuring competence and adherence to established procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Experience from floating drilling units is preferred.
• Technical College education in Drilling & Well Technology or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in a Driller position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
• Valid IWCF Well Control Certification, OGP Level 3 (Driller).
