Volvo Penta 110S saildrive removed from a 1980 Maxi 77.
The saildrive is complete and working, but the internal clutch plates are slipping, so it is being sold as a repair project or for spare parts.
The prop shaft oil seal was recently replaced after seawater ingress caused milky oil in the saildrive. After changing the seal and replacing the oil, the clutch began to slip. Our assumption is that previous wear/corrosion to the clutch plates is the cause, but this has not been professionally diagnosed.
