Senior Instrument Engineer

We are looking for senior Instrument Engineers to strengthen our Instrument Department. The ideal candidate has a solid technical background and is comfortable taking ownership of instrumentation design and technical follow-up in multidisciplinary projects.
About the position
In this role, you will be responsible for the technical follow-up of instrumentation systems, including the preparation of technical requisitions, review of vendor documentation, and identification of project information requirements. You will contribute to the design of solutions that meet customer requirements, ensure the quality of technical deliverables, and participate in FATs and other testing activities. Depending on project needs, there may also be opportunities to take part in offshore and onshore site surveys.
The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure effective interface management and the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
Qualifications
- Technical vocational school, Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Trade certificate is considered an advantage
- Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience within instrumentation, engineering projects, or related disciplines
- Experience with instrumentation design, vendor follow-up, or similar engineering tasks
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal
