Due to increasing sales volumes, we are expanding our Mechanical, Design and Production team. Are you ready to dive in? We are now looking for a practical and structured Production Technician who will play a key role in assembling and further developing our products.

Your role

As a Production Technician at Eelume, you’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge underwater robots, from mechanical assembly to testing and improvement. You’ll follow established processes in our quality management system and contribute to developing these further as we scale production. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team turning ideas into real, mission-ready technology for the ocean. This is a role for someone who loves practical work, precision, quality, and innovation below the surface.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Mechanical assembly of pressure-rated equipment, servos, and rotating machinery according to engineering drawings
• Electrical connection and cabling according to wiring diagrams
• Documentation of assemblies and preparation of user manuals
• Contribute with improvement suggestions for design and production of new products
• Follow procedures and documentation requirements in Eelume’s quality management system, and contribute to continuous improvement of production processes

Professional qualifications

• Experience with assembly of electromechanical products
• Familiarity with subsea equipment is an advantage
• Experience with pressure testing and maintenance of pressure testing equipment is considered an advantage
• Basic understanding of electronics
• Experience with quality control of mechanical parts
• Relevant technical certificate/vocational college (teknisk fagskole/fagbrev), or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.

• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, spoken and written
