Hand-Carved & Hand-Painted Australian Boomerang – Aboriginal Art by Mukal
For sale is an original decorative boomerang from Australia, made from Australian Brigalow timber.
The boomerang was given to me as a gift from Australia and has been kept as a decorative piece.
According to the original label on the back, it is:
Hand carved
Hand painted
“Aboriginal Art by Mukal”
Made from Australian Brigalow timber
Made in Australia
The front features a detailed hand-painted Australian animal design in black, white, red and ochre tones. The carving and painted decoration give the piece a very distinctive appearance.
The original maker's label is still attached to the back, clearly identifying the material, origin and hand-crafted nature of the piece.
A beautiful piece for:
Australian art collectors
Ethnic / indigenous art collections
Wall decoration
Australian memorabilia
Decorative interiors
Collectors of boomerangs and handcrafted objects
It has some minor signs of age/storage, particularly on the reverse, as visible in the photos, but overall presents very nicely.
